DynaScan Announces New Outdoor Display

IRVINE, CA (July 30, 2009) – Expanding its portfolio to meet the needs of the digital out-of-home market, DynaScan Technology, Inc. announced he newest member of its outdoor series, the DS1016.

The DS1016 boasts a display area of more than 50 square feet, and an ultra-bright luminance of 8,000 cd/m2.  The new model is designed for applications along city streets, outdoor plazas, movie theaters, stadiums, transportation centers, and other high traffic public venues. The display is rated IP65 weather proof, and can withstand harsh outdoor conditions.  With an integrated heating and air conditioning system, the screen may be operated year-round in both hot and cool weather climates.

The DS1016 expands DynaScan Technology Inc.’s product offering to nine different production displays.  David Huang, Director of Business Development for DynaScan says: “Many of our customers have shown a need for a mid-size outdoor display.  We believe the DS1016 will fit this application very well.” The DS1016 will be available for purchase starting immediately.
